Attire: Indian Semi-Formal
With a Punjabi bride and Gujarati groom, we sure know how to bring all the dhamaka and masti!
By including two of the most entertaining functions from both cultures to celebrate the Big Day, what could get more exciting than that?!
A fantastically huge Raas-Garba alongside dances performed by relatives and friends of the bride and groom. Punjabi folk songs are sung in unison by older female family members.
Now that is what you call a fusion of two states!

Attire: Indian Traditional, yellow outfits are preferred but not required
The Haldi ceremony traditionally cleans and purifies before the wedding ceremony. Haldi is a paste made of chickpea flour, turmeric, rose water, and other ingredients. The golden concoction is applied to the bride and groom's face, arms, and legs.

Baraat
Assembly of the Baraat information TBD
Baraat is the groom's procession into the wedding ceremony. A modern take is for the groom to enter in an extravagant car! The DJ will have a portable sound system to showcase a fusion of Hip Hop and Bhangra, mixing in the resounding beats of the Dhol for excitement. The Baraat is more about celebration and fun than religious ceremonies and rituals. The bride is not included in the processions as it is solely to welcome the Groom and his family to the marriage site, but she will be secretly watching!
Milni
In Sanskrit, it means “coming together.” This is in line with the virtue of the Punjabi tradition, the Milni Ceremony, which involves the coming together of two families. There is an exchange of “Milni Malas,” flower garlands, from one family member to another to show acceptance of one another.
Jai Mala
The Jai Mala ceremony is a well-known ritual during a Hindu wedding, where the bride and the groom exchange garlands as an indication of acceptance of each other as their spouse and a pledge to respect them throughout the rest of their lives.
Hindu Ceremony
A Hindu marriage is a sacrament, not a contract. To signify the viability of the marriage, fire is kept as a witness, and offerings are made. The ceremony is not complete unless the ritual of seven steps and vows in the presence of fire (Saptapadi) is done.
Vidai
Often an emotional ceremony as it is a form of a farewell ceremony organized by the bride's family to officially bid farewell to their daughter as she leaves for her marital home.
